Inside Field Service the user can schedule work orders, resources and manage field personnel. There are also options to perform skill resourcing and Matching. Available resources can be organised and scheduled by any number of categories, including Skill set, geography or customer preference. Schedules can be managed in different views for each field member by dispatchers and with a mobile integration it can be used on the go and in the office in real time. Bar code scanning, and document saving capabilities allows everything to be stored in one view to aid customer and client interactions. Sales, Marketing and Supply chain data can all be viewed inside this application.
Services main functions in Dynamics 365 include: Ticketing, Cases and the service calendar. It also allows you to create queues, contracts and SLAs.
