I had a fantastic few days in Lisbon, a truly wonderful place and as always an informative and professional event which I am now delighted to have been invited to be a member of the Board of Directors.
eXtreme 365 is an annual partner and customer training event focused on Dynamics 365. It is designed for current customers and Dynamics Partners to access thought leadership and the latest updates on new features and related 3rd party add-ons. Aside from this, it’s a great chance to catch up with old friends, make new connections and increase Cloud9’s knowledge and skills to maximise the success of our projects.
Why you should make Lisbon your next holiday destination?
Having never been to Lisbon before, I can’t recommend it highly enough. If you haven’t been, you should put it on your bucket list and you will certainly not be disappointed. I was gutted I only had a few nights there, I could have spent a long 2-week family break. The great weather, delicious food and beaches are perhaps obvious but the stunning vistas at every turn and very own Golden Gate Bridge were more surprising highlights. The ’25 de Abril Bridge’ commemorates the Carnation Revolution in 1974 where the Estado Novo regime was overthrown. The 25th of April is now a national holiday – known as Freedom Day. I bet you didn’t think this blog was a Portuguese history lesson!
Back to Dynamics – I was honoured to be asked to join the eXtreme Board of Directors. This is to support both future European and North American eXtreme events. This was a real cherry on my Portuguese adventure cake and I cannot wait to be involved in the next event in North America.
The key highlights from the sessions were:
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Edition, expected to hit this Summer is a cost-effective solution aimed at the 1-250 user market. The solution, expected to cost US$50 for all combined apps or US$40 for a single app. The available apps are: Sales, Customer Service, Marketing and the brand new Financials. The Financials app will include purchasing, project management, inventory and sales document management which we believe will eliminate the need for integrating into a 3rd party financials solution. Cloud9 are part of the early adopter programme so give us a call if you’d like to be one of the first clients to deploy the new Financials App or to view a demo – +44 1273 921 510 or contact us
Microsoft continue to make significant investments in technology and complimentary acquisitions. This includes the acquisition of LinkedIn which we expect to bring Dynamics users future benefits. Microsoft are passionate in making acquisitions and investments in products that enhance customer experience, user adoption and insights.
There’s lots of exciting features and even a new Marketing solution which includes event management capability to look forward to in 2017. For information on anything Dynamics 365 – we’d be delighted to hear from you +44 1273 921 510 or contact us
