Portals Functionality Overview
This February, we have a new update for Dynamics 365 Portals,  Version The update boasts new features that increase efficiency and resolve previous minor bugs and glitches.

Here are some new aspects we like the look of:
Portal control for the GDPR compliance
  • Portal administrators can make configurations in line with the GDPR standards to ensure portal users have consented to the use and storage of their personal data. This allows admin access to review and update privacy policies and terms and conditions as well as defining user status such as minor users who require parental consent use the portal to harness online safety.
Resolve portal errors
  • Portal developers can now address issues with bugs and errors immediately with access to the error log for thorough technical support. Make your portal live and automate issues straight to the Azure Blob storage server so your portal customers can report faults.
Authentication key update alerts
  • In order to integrate your portals with Dynamics 365, your organisation will be connected to Azure Active Directory. This is an essential part of provisioning your portal. Now, portal administrators can receive alerts in advance of expiry and renew the authentication key in the Portal Admin Centre.
