Systal is a global technology business offering a wide range of services & solutions. In 2021, the team won a large contract, driving an urgent internal project to improve their wider system capability and technology stack.

The challenge

The project needed to deliver a Dynamics 365 for Sales CRM to a tight schedule. We implemented the module to deliver a single view of client data, storing profile information, current and previous opportunities as well as contacts. The native integrations with Microsoft tools like Outlook and Sharepoint provided all business units with an easy way to store emails and meeting notes. The single view of the customer sales data will allow a connection to Mail Chimp for marketing.

Project Approach

Through design workshops, together Cloud9 and the Systal team have been identifying functionality to transition data from existing SharePoint databases and the external use of Excel spreadsheets. It was agreed that some Dynamics features may be reserved for Phase 2 after the team have operationalised the system with the primary need to meet project timelines.
