Only 5% of leadership positions in the technology sector are held by women, meaning many girls lack the necessary female role-models to inspire them to enter into the industry.

Speaking to Dynamic a magazine for women in business – Carlene said “Women have an equal role to play as leaders and often have an advantage as they typically have great emotional intelligence. Technology is used by a diverse number of users, and those developing it need to represent this diversity.”
